Their life revolves around hunting walruses and whales and protecting villages from bears coming from the tundra. This turns the film into a meditation on death. Marine animals are the main source of food for humans; skins and offal are used to feed arctic foxes on a fur farm; human cemeteries become food for bears. All inhabitants of these places are involved in the cycle of food and death. The film departs from the usual rhythmic structure of cinema, being built on the principle of a shamanic ritual, a meaning-forming event for the northern peoples.

From the village of Nikola-Lenivets to the village of Zvizzhi 20 minutes on foot. Nikola-Lenivets is the venue for the fashion festival of landscape objects "Archstoyanie". Zvizzhi is the place of residence of Valka, Lyudka, Zhenya and the sixty-year-old "Kukolka" (doll) Natasha. Thirty-year-old Igor, who received two higher educations, has been living illegally in the Chernobyl zone for seven years now. All he wants is to find peace and an opportunity to move away from civilization. Igor is tormented by a number of psychological problems, both personal and global. A harmonizing world, eternal emotionality and the existential mystery of human existence coexist in it at the same time. Igor is surrounded by elderly residents of the Chernobyl zone. They seem to live in an unreal Atlantis, from where even the war going on in Ukraine seems to be something unreal, taking place on another planet.

For twelve years, war photographer Oleg Klimov captured on film the collapse of the Soviet Union. He was present at almost all military and ethnic conflicts in the 90s. His photographs were on the front pages of many Western newspapers, as silent witnesses to the wars in the former Soviet Union. But Oleg's career also influenced his personality. After several quiet years, he unexpectedly finds a war injury on his own. Driven by inner longing, he returns to some of the places where he photographed people during the war, to Nagorno-Karabakh, Abkhazia and Chechnya, to find those who are depicted in the pictures.

They love each other and dream of having a child, but when the State Duma passes a discriminatory law against propaganda of homosexuality among minors, Olya begins to fight for the rights of sexual minorities even more strongly. At the same time, the girl's personal life is being tested.
