A film about modern Europe. About its two edges, or, more correctly, extremes. About Europe, which begins in the deserted space of Russian Siberia and ends on the cozy beaches of the Bay of Biscay, where even the laws of nature form fundamentally different styles of human existence. What can unite such different lives? Physically, they are united by the Western Siberia–Western Europe gas pipeline. The pipe not only connected, but also inextricably linked THIS Russia with THIS Europe. The film was awarded the National Film Award "Nika" - 2014, nomination Best Non-Fiction Film.

A year has passed since the presidential elections in Belarus, when the current government harshly suppressed protests against falsified results. Thousands of people are still in prisons, tens of thousands were forced to go abroad. Among the new emigrants there are politicians, they are even called the government in exile. And there are ordinary citizens who could not even imagine that they would ever have to leave their homeland. The film tells how this Belarus lives, a huge community of migrants that has emerged over the past year. The stories of the heroes add up to a chronicle of what is happening in their country after the elections on August 9, 2020.

Three times a week, 15 women travel from different parts of the city by public transport, with transfers to a small club located in a former kindergarten. Here, on the outskirts of Minsk, is the only place in the city where they can take dance lessons for a nominal fee of 3,000 Belarusian rubles. The program includes belly dance, tango, blues. The students are no longer young, all at least 50 years old. Each of them had a very difficult life. Having gone through all the hardships, these women have not forgotten how to enjoy life and are still waiting for their "prince".

Xenia’s adult life was certain to be bright and happy. Academy of Fine Arts, playing in theatre, friends, admirers, and first love were there in her life. As she plunged in her feelings, she did not even realize that she was about to follow a path of temptation and suffering. Everything she holds precious — friends and her future fame as an actress — is sacrificed to drugs. Atonement is soon to follow: she finds out she is HIV-positive, her father dies, and her mother has a car accident… There seems to be no power, which could save her. However, the discovery of the faith, the self-sacrifice of her mother and the courage of her friend help her come back to life. The film is shot in the genre of docudrama in a modern and dynamic style and is sure to attract wide audience.

This is a documentary about a renowned precentor and a church composer Irina Denissova who suddenly becomes a nun in the apex of her career. At the same time, this is a film about God's love towards man. It seemed that a tragedy had occurred: a family of two prominent musicians was ruined, and Irina was abandoned by her husband while struggling with a serious disease of her son. However, she finds a new sense in life rather than being with her beloved husband all the time. Her life is now aimed at being constantly with God. Then, through the prayers of his mother, her son receives a miraculous healing and all her three children embrace faith. The second life of the main character - the one after the tonsure - turns out to be no less abundant, interesting and creative. According to the director of the film, a monastery is by no means a confinement, and the life of the persons who wear black monastic robes is much richer than we can imagine.

Everyone in the yard knows the eccentric Oleg, but no one knows where he goes on his two-wheeled tractor.

Belarusian video blogger and young farmer Simon, a deeply religious Orthodox Christian, always liked getting philosophical on life, admire Mother Nature and share it with the world. For the last 5 years he and his wife have been living in the village, where they raise two little sons and breed sheep. It seemed nothing could interfere with this joyful harmonious existence in the wilderness. Nevertheless, local residents, administration and the head of the collective farm do not approve of the independent lifestyle of the young family and their open neglect of common rules on life in the village and animal husbandry. Series of litigations exhaust Simon, his video blog gets filled with sarcasm on his previous illusions about romantic ways of life in the nature. Praying God doesn’t help anymore and the farmer dares for a desperate action – hunger strike. He thinks it is the only way to be heard in his struggle with the Belarusian judicial system. Either way, the hunger strike transforms into not so much a social protest as into a trial for the strength of the spirit, faith and love.

The film story includes two intertwined parallel realities. The first one is a rehearsal of the play “The Little Prince” by Saint-Exupéry carried out by the actor and director Alexander Zhdanovich together with the actors — children from the boarding home for children with special needs. The second reality consists of different areas of life in which the characters reveal their inner world and state of mind at that moment. Loneliness, love, inability to love, confusion, compassion, joy. As if the little prince lives in each of the characters...

The heroes of the film are a polar explorer, the head of the North Pole drifting station Tomas Petrovsky and his mother Romualda Flerovna. The scenes are the Arctic drifting station SP-33 and the Belarusian village of Petrovskoye. An eternal story about a son who leaves home for no reason, into an incomprehensible and dangerous cold, and about a mother who does not understand him, loves him and prays for him. And here, at home, there is paradise, buzzing bees, a blooming garden, a clean river, warm earth.

The protests in Belarus had been going on for the 12th day, but people started to think that the protests began to stall, and Lukashenko slowly set about to regain control. Is it so? Will people get tired? And will they go home, giving Lukashenko another five years of power?

When a man is forty years old, either decay or prosperity awaits him.

The film paints a portrait juxtaposing two immigrants : Irina Makeenko, born in France but who left to live in the USSR at the age of 12, and Vladimir Kozlov, the film’s director, who arrived in France after the fall of the Soviet Union. White Russians established in the region of Toulouse since the 1920s, the parents of Irina Makeenko believed in Stalin’s promises and returned to the USSR in 1947. Nearly 50 years later, after Perestroïka, Vladimir Kozlov did the same journey in reverse – he, also, motivated by the dream of a better life.

There are around 10 thousand imprisoned for minor drug-related offences in Belarus. Young people caught using cannabis are forced to work hard for the state in penal colonies across the country. Generation 328 is a story of mothers who are living everyday life with a single hope: to bring home their unfairly convicted children. How far will the mothers go to find justice for their children?

Every year, on the days of the summer solstice, Belarusians celebrate the Kupalle (Ivan Kupala) holiday. This is a celebration of unity with the native land, which has always given the Belarusians an energy charge for the whole year. New couples were created on Kupalle, children were conceived. There are no Belarusians without Kupalle. The current political situation has broken the connection of Belarusians with their native culture, tradition, has replaced the true spiritual values ​​of the nation with a trend of base mass entertainment. But the people's initiative lives on, and traditions live on, and Belarus lives side by side with the imposed absurdity.

Yuri and Alexander are veterans of the Afghan war. For many years they have been celebrating Victory Day together.

Oleg Kirillov is the coach of the intuitive football team. It's hard to believe, but his wards are members of the national team of the Republic of Belarus in mini-football among the blind. Each of them was on the field for different reasons, but today they have a common task to maintain their status as champions in the national competition. Kirillov himself grew up in a disabled family and knows well how to communicate with his wards. He is not only a mentor, but also a friend of each of the athletes. An important element of the film is the work with sound, it completely restores the natural sound environment for the players, in which they are guided by the noise made by the ball and the clear instructions of the coach.
