The three main characters of the film sing in a village ensemble. Once a year, their singing has a sacred meaning: on the fortieth day after Easter, on Ascension, they perform the ancient rite “Arrow”, which protects the villagers.

Mother and son grow closer, silence melts into words, and life springs between them. The son leaves, and winter settles in to the forever-outdated house in which temporalities blurs and past and present beat to the rhythm of the same clock.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and determination of the permanent director of the Belarusian Children's Hospice Anna Georgievna Gorchakova, in June 2016 a new building was opened in Barovlyany, built on charitable donations. In this institution, the stereotype of human thinking does not work, which identifies the hospice with a place for death. In the Belarusian Children's Hospice, there are no more than a quarter of terminally ill and dying children. The rest of the patients are children with severe, incurable diagnoses who need constant care and assistance. The film provides an opportunity to touch the life of the hospice in its most diverse manifestations, both dramatic and light, allows you to understand the life and social position of the extraordinary person Anna Gorchakova.

This is a documentary about a renowned precentor and a church composer Irina Denissova who suddenly becomes a nun in the apex of her career. At the same time, this is a film about God's love towards man. It seemed that a tragedy had occurred: a family of two prominent musicians was ruined, and Irina was abandoned by her husband while struggling with a serious disease of her son. However, she finds a new sense in life rather than being with her beloved husband all the time. Her life is now aimed at being constantly with God. Then, through the prayers of his mother, her son receives a miraculous healing and all her three children embrace faith. The second life of the main character - the one after the tonsure - turns out to be no less abundant, interesting and creative. According to the director of the film, a monastery is by no means a confinement, and the life of the persons who wear black monastic robes is much richer than we can imagine.
