A wonderful and enthralling show. Each participant can introduce himself as anyone. Moreover, only in the image of great, famous people can one fully feel the greatness of a genius, and at the same time those problems with which, as a rule, genius is associated. Moving on to other centuries and times, you can also appreciate the beauty of each era. The main characters of this show are great people of literature, science, cinema and art.

Set against the backdrop of one of Russia's most industrially brutal and polluted cities, Harmony explores social and gender dynamics of Russian youth through the paradigms and preconceptions of the country’s most prominent sports: ice hockey and rhythmic gymnastics. The two respectively embody Russia’s nationalistic interpretation of hyper-masculine and feminine ideals. Here, sport and everyday life gather broader meaning — reflecting the traits and obsessions of society as a whole.

Alex Carlin is not Borat. He is a real person, and this is really his life. For seven years, Alex and his rock band have been on a nonstop tour of Russia—over 100 concerts per year. From Murmansk in the Arctic Circle to the Southern Black Sea, from the Far West Kaliningrad to the Far East Kamchatka, through the vast untamed Siberian territories so ripe for rock and roll, the ALEX CARLIN BAND gets to the next gig by train, not plane. The "Russian Rock-and-Roll Railroad" is a daily adventure of music, romance, fascinating characters and unsinkable people-to-people diplomacy. A major theme is building friendship and positive cooperation between the peoples of Russia and America. In 2020, a documentary movie was completed only a moment before the pandemic hit Russia, which would have blocked some of the traveling and concerts. But as fate would have it, the die was cast, the affair was consummated and here it is, the Russia you have never seen before: Alex in Russialand!

This film is based on the unusual fate of an unusual picture, a double portrait of two prominent historical figures. On one side of it, in 1896, the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II was depicted in a palace interior. And on the other hand, almost three decades later, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin in full growth against the backdrop of the Peter and Paul Fortress. For a long time, this canvas in a gilded frame was kept in the assembly hall of the St. Petersburg secondary school on the Fontanka, with the Leninist side facing the viewer. The side of Nicholas II, on the contrary, was hidden under a layer of paint for 90 years. Only in 2013, the year of the centenary of the Romanov dynasty, the restorers almost accidentally discovered the image hidden from the audience. The incredible combination of two warring rulers on both sides of the same canvas turned out to be a real sensation. It is no coincidence that the portrait became the central exhibit at the exhibition dedicated to the Russian Revolution in the Hermitage in 2017. However, the plot of the film is not limited to one sensation. The viewer will have to make a lot of amazing discoveries both in the history of writing an unusual picture, and in the fate of two almost forgotten Russian artists.

The hotel guard met the runner in the yard and saw that a deep wound was gaping on his stomach. “She cut me with a knife,” the wounded man said with difficulty. A day later, he died in the hospital.
