The sculptor Oleg Nikolaevich Artemyev has been living in the Rostov nursing home for the elderly and disabled for three years now. Once in the boarding school, he continues to sculpt figures of people living next to him from plasticine. Every day, observing the fading life and suffering of the elderly around him, he creates in his works realistic images that make one empathize and arouse sympathy.

The protagonist of the film, a doctor in a district polyclinic and part-time creator of the promotional label BEZ Promo, cannot choose what to connect his future with, with medicine, or with organizing parties in Moscow clubs. Both seem to him an important mission. Both are serving people.

Father Vladislav can go this way from south to north only in winter and only in this way.
