The film reveals a little-known story of the Russian army's foreign campaigns of 1813-1814, which tells about the completion of the defeat of Napoleon's army and the liberation of the countries of Western Europe from the French conquerors. After more than 200 years, the inhabitants of the modern Netherlands remember the exploits of the Russian army and carefully preserve the common history.

The bell is the only musical instrument used in Orthodox worship, and its connection with the spiritual culture of Russia is incredibly strong. In 2016, the famous techno producer and DJ Filipp Gorbachev was trained by the master of bell ringing, subsequently becoming the bell ringer of the Church of St. Nicholas in Aksinino. Such an interest in Orthodox culture is not accidental, having experienced the influence of Peter Mamonov, the Moscow electronic musician believes in the special spirituality of the Russian dance floor. This film is an attempt to reflect it through the prayerful experience of a modern bell ringer, under whose monastic cassock hides a mechanic's red overalls, Gorbachev's usual stage attire. Following Philip, the camera, attentive to details, tries to find and capture that fragile atmosphere in which the sound of bells becomes a source of divine revelation and turns people into brothers and sisters.

The film introduces viewers to the history of Russia through the work of the sculptor, People's Artist Vladimir Aleksandrovich Surovtsev. Different times are covered by the author's creations from Russian knights to the present day. Surovtsev's monuments have been erected in sixteen countries of the world. The main theme in the sculptor's work is the theme of war, the perpetuation of the memory of the heroes of the Fatherland. An important place in the film is occupied by the search for the remains of Soviet soldiers, their burial, and the creation of memorials of military glory.

Boris Kuznetsov is a well-known Petersburg artist. Author of more than 1500 paintings. His paintings have been distributed all over the world. Among his works are portraits of artists Yevgeny Lebedev and Elena Obraztsova. In the film directed by Nikolai Yakimchuk, we will see not only Kuznetsov the artist, Kuznetsov the philosopher, but also hear his talented musical improvisations.

The wreckage of an unknown plane and people's remains were discovered in the Ural mountains in 2017. The investigation revealed the legendary director of an aircraft factory Matvey Shenkman crashed here during World War II. He launched into production the most mass-produced military aircraft in history. Stalin threatened him and agreed with him. Denunciations to KGB demanded him to be shot. All the newspapers in the country wrote about his death. But over time, his name was forgotten, and the path to the grave was lost. And only 75 years later, the authors of the film found his grave in Russia - and another one, in San Francisco, USA. Is also engraved the name of Matvey Shenkman on it. And his bust, made by Stalin’s personal order, stands now in a California house.
