And what happened to the two women who thought they had helped to establish the truth?

The presidential campaign in Belarus in 2020 did not bode well for surprises. The permanent (since 1994) head of state Alexander Lukashenko ran for a sixth term. During this time, an authoritarian political regime was established in the country. None of the real candidates were registered as presidential candidates: some were arrested, others left the country. As a result, the only competitor of the incumbent president was the housewife, the wife of one of the political prisoners, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.

Trying to comprehend what happened, he turns the camera on himself.

In March 2022, after numerous harassment by the police for his appearance and citizenship, the artist Gopal Muni leaves Russia for Georgia in the hope of receiving support and security and the opportunity to create art works in a freer country. But instead of creating creativity in Georgia, the artist got arrested and subjected to numerous interrogations and cruel treatment. He is not allowed into the country and deported under escort to Armenia, where Gopal opens up opportunities to dramatically change his life.

Serzhuk and Viola are husband and wife. And they are figures of the Belarusian culture. Serzhuk Dolgushev is the leader and vocalist of the Vurai group, the keeper of Belarusian folklore. Through his efforts, folklore expeditions to Belarusian villages are organized, and unique Belarusian songs and rituals are recorded. And Viola helps her husband promote Belarusian traditions. Two years ago, Viola won a green card, and together with Serzhuk they went to America. A new musical project "Slavalacha" was born there, which included American, Ukrainian and Belarusian musicians. Serzhuk is among them. In 2020, a number of Slavalacha concerts were to take place in America. Viola just went to the US to promote this and other cultural projects there. Soon Serzhuk was supposed to fly away for her, but did not have time - because of the coronavirus, the borders were closed. Now every day husband and wife meet only on the Internet. There are 8000 kilometers between them, and the time difference is 8 hours. When Serzhuk has day, Viola has night. And vice versa. Serzhuk dreams of opening the borders in order to fly to Viola in America as soon as possible. He is “an immigrant without five minutes”, and only the coronavirus keeps him in Belarus so far. It is obvious that there, overseas, a talented musician will have more opportunities for self-realization. But who will stay here if everyone leaves?

If architecture is "frozen music", then the facades of houses are its score. Exploring the architecture of the post-Soviet space, from wooden architecture to baroque and classicism, from modern to Stalinist and Khrushchev architecture, which continued in modern areas of panel buildings, we are trying to understand how this centuries-old symphony could sound and look like. We find that irreconcilable conflict of personality and mass, unique and typical, which is reflected even in the "stone".

The film’s author is against the military aggression launched by his country. He leaves Russia and travels to Germany, where his friend is helping Ukrainian refugees flee to the West.
