In 2023, the jury of the first round of the Laurel Prize took the initiative to compile a list of 10 more paintings created by young authors, to which the jury turned their attention in the process of selecting works. These films are not put up for voting by the grand jury of the Laurel Prize, but this list is made public as part of the competition, and is available for publication to all interested media. Several factors prompted the jury members to make this decision. Including the lack of industrial tools to support and promote independent cinema of young authors in the country and abroad.
