The film is dedicated to the fate and heroism of Soviet frontline cinematographers during the Great Patriotic War. Frontline cinematographers – Malik Kayumov, Boris Sokolov, and Semen Shkolnikov – did not divide the victors by nationality, believing that it was the multinational people of the great country who won. The filmmakers spent several years shooting in three countries that became sovereign after the collapse of the USSR – Russia, Uzbekistan, and Estonia. The film gathers unique material about the fates of those who showed the world the consequences of fascism and national hatred. This film is the legacy of heroes who wrote the accusatory chronicle of fascism.
