On October 13, 2013, in the Moscow district of Zapadnoye Biryulyovo, a crowd of local residents, nationalists and football fans defeated the Biryuza shopping center and the largest vegetable warehouse in the capital region. The nationalist pogrom was triggered by the murder of 25-year-old Yegor Shcherbakov, which took place a week earlier. Shcherbakov's friend said that the killer looked like "a visitor from the Caucasus." The OMON, which dispersed the rioters, detained 380 people.
