Russia. August-September 2016. A month remains before the elections to the State Duma. The main characters of the film are a mother of four children, a Paralympic athlete, an opposition journalist, a philologist girl, a young economist and a truck driver. All of them are independent candidates for deputies. What made each of them join the struggle and how do these men and women live on the eve of the elections?

The film takes place during the Ukrainian events on the Maidan, in the Crimea and in the Donbass. The main character is a Chechen Ruslan, who once fought for the independence of Chechnya, who went through armed conflicts in Abkhazia and Tiraspol. He came to Ukraine to continue his confrontation with the Russian authorities.

Neo-Buddhist Dmitry Enteo, who became an ardent defender of Orthodox values, riveted the public's attention to himself after several eccentric actions. He calls himself an Orthodox actionist and contrasts his activities with the work of the art group "Voina" (War) and "Pussy Riot". He is considered another Surkov project, he claims that God is behind him. Gathering a movement of Orthodox activists around him and calling it "God's will," Dmitry announced his intention to lead Russia, and then the whole world, to the Eucharistic revolution. What comes out of this, and who is Enteo really?
