Detained upon arrival at Vnukovo Airport, Navalny calls on his supporters to take to the streets. Across the country, people protest to express their outrage — including in Omsk, where the events of this film unfold.

With its large presence of young people and dance music on the soundtrack, the unfolding events resemble an open-air festival. At the same time, Putin’s televised address about the coronavirus plays in the background, heightening the sense of absurdity.
