They lay flowers at the monument to the Soviet soldier; they sing, dance and drink. They celebrate the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany. The film is a direct reportage from Treptower Park 72 years after the victory.

However, in Russia, they often face limited opportunities. Yet, "disability" does not define Katya Sukhinina, who daily demonstrates to the world that a wheelchair is not a life sentence. Life doesn't come to a halt when a person loses the ability to walk.

My grandmother is 96 years old. She dreamed of becoming a ballerina, but became an engineer. I made this film because I wanted to understand who she really is, and instead, I understood a little about myself.
