The war of the Soviet Union in Afghanistan in 1979 is still full of many secrets. And perhaps the most intriguing of them is connected with the operation "Baikal-79", the beginning of the invasion. The battle lasted only 43 minutes in the Taj Beck Palace, the residence of the head of Afghanistan, Amin. But this was preceded by a long chain of intriguing events in Moscow and Kabul.

While in Moscow thousands of young people are protesting against the current government, corruption in the Russian elite and demanding change, older people in southern Russia, in Krasnodar, are fighting for traditional values and stability. They face misunderstanding and hatred, but all the same, united, they create their own Russia. These women and men created their blog on youtube, in which they post a chronicle of their struggle. They called themselves “Putin Squad”.

In the mid-90s, three business partners gather in a commune, buy up land in the Moscow region and build three houses on one site. What will become of this place and its inhabitants 25 years later?

The protagonists of the film are a family of five, a mother, father and three daughters. They were always together, and always did everything together, and could not imagine what it was like to be apart. But daughters grow up, parents accumulate so many claims that they can no longer talk to each other or live in the same apartment. The eldest daughter, with the help of a camera, watches how their "we" splits, and then nevertheless gathers in a new capacity.

The film tells about the intertwining of economic and cultural structures in the modern Siberian North, which for some is a place of birth, for others it is a deposit.

The more time passes since the end of the war, the more often attempts are made to rewrite its course and results. Especially historians and politicians of the new independent states that have appeared in the post-Soviet space. The problem is so acute that some time ago, the first persons of our country instructed a special commission to counteract attempts to falsify history to the detriment of Russia's interests. Next, a group of Russian scientists, historians and political scientists analyzed 187 school textbooks in 12 countries of the former USSR. The conclusions are sad. With the exception of Belarus and Armenia, in all other countries the interpretation of historical events is either biased or the historical facts themselves are falsified.

Today's Russia looks into the mirror of Russian turmoil. Lenin, Azef and Zubatov, the terror of the Social Revolutionaries and Pyotr Stolypin, the Constitution and the Black Hundred, the shame of the Russian-Japanese and the incessant disputes in the Duma.

Hundreds of thousands of scientists have left Russia in recent decades. Some are returning. Those who come back, Russia meets differently.

Jasmin and Jastrip are both 12 years old and live in Kiev. Jasmin is a girl from a loving family, who wants to excel at all cost. Jastrip is a boy, who is neglected and simply wants to find a place where he is loved. They both visit the Azovez camp which aims to raise a new class of patriotic warriors for a Ukraine of tomorrow. There the kids learn how to be real Ukrainians, to fight, to shoot, to yell, to get orders and to give orders. And over time this changes them.

Nadia Kuznetsova is 28 years old, she lives in Veliky Novgorod, she graduated from high school and university here, she dreams of going to the sea and regaining her fingers. Nadya is sick with a rare genetic disease, epidermolysis bullosa, which is called the "butterfly syndrome", the patient's skin is injured from any touch. The disease is incurable. As Nadia herself says, "I do not fight with her, I live with her." She fights for something else, for leading the life of an ordinary person. And, having gone through years of trials, he wins.

In the village of Bolshebykovo in the south of Russia, hereditary peasants live according to the rules and customs that have developed over the centuries. They work almost the same as a hundred years ago, and sing the songs of their great-grandmothers. Their social circle is closed and cozy, neighbors, family. Their natural habitat is nature. Endless peasant labor is the content of life. And the main feature is vitality.

The film is about people who are already recognized in the world musical culture, about those contemporaries who are called "our new composers" in musical circles. Vladimir Martynov, Sergey Zagniy, Anton Batagov and Pavel Karmanov, despite their creative difference and difference in attitude, communicate closely and, one might say, are friends. These are four completely different people, who, nevertheless, are called “composers of the same blood” by critics.

The series is based on the memories of children, participants and witnesses of various events in Russia in the 20th century. How children who grew up in Russia in different years of the 20th century perceived the world around them, and with it the everyday life of Russian history. Life, the behavior of parents, the behavior of friends and enemies of the family, the external environment, social upheavals, political events, all this is noticed by children, all this adds up to that picture of history that we will not find either in official reports or in historical research.

They don't have it, so they don't need it. “Imagine” is a film-journey to the border area. Blinded due to an illness, an art critic, a fan of painting who lost her sight after the birth of children, an artist who has been blind since childhood. The heroes of the film are people who are in love with art, looking for an opportunity to reconnect with visual culture, cut off by circumstances. What do those who seem to see nothing actually see? What do those who have recently become blind remember? And how do those who live in darkness imagine the world?

A surfeit of bile, said the ancient Greek physicians, can lead both to physical disorders (gallstones) and mental health problems (melancholy). Ira A. Goryainova, the director of this intimate essay on the human body, health, disease and death, can vouch for this from personal experience. The leitmotif is her search for the cause of her own health problems—she probes deeply, sometimes quite literally—and the history of her mother, who died of cancer, seen through family home videos in post-Soviet Russia. Using historical archive footage and philosophical reflections, Goryainova shows how in different cultures and eras people have looked—or avoided looking—at the human body, health and disease. With self-knowledge, frankness and curiosity, the filmmaker explores how we can learn to view ourselves and our diseases—including diseases in our societies, such as fascism, the cancer of the 20th century.

The film tells about the families of the innocently convicted, in particular, about two mothers whose children are in prison. They are trying to prove the innocence of their children and the falsification of criminal cases by law enforcement officers.

But something happened in our life, and the planets do not want to explode, we do not have enough love dynamite.
