The 'Nomadic Museum' project has been running for 10 years, shaping an entire generation of new employees at the Museum of Music and Folklore of the Peoples of Yakutia. Through this program, they have traveled across the republic's uluses, and now face a new challenge—presenting the exhibition 'Motives of the North' at the Russian Ethnographic Museum, a citadel of ethnic collections from across the country. This prestigious and traditional venue, with its rich collections and established rules, presents a tough challenge. The greatest test will be engaging with the discerning St. Petersburg public—educated, self-sufficient, and highly demanding. The young Yakut team must do everything possible, and perhaps impossible, to immerse this audience in the epic spirit of the peoples living in the land of permafrost.

The documentary film is based on unique images and captivating stories of five northern women. The main heroines are the laureates of the nationwide competition "Female Voice of the Arctic", which took place as part of the eponymous Media Project: Galina Veretnova, Konstansiya Petrova, Nariya Renanto, Tuyara Zhirkova, and Varvara Stepanova. The competition involved over one hundred participants from eight regions of Russia.

A group of scientists led by Pavel Skuchas and St Petersburg University are embarking on a risky expedition to Yakutia to find traces of Arctic dinosaurs. This journey will change their perspective on ancient traditions and their roots.
