The second round of voting for the best film of the Laurel Branch competition has been completed. In 2024, the Prize will be awarded in the only debut category “Cinema of the Future”. 50 documentary film professionals took part in the voting. The voting was carried out by independent auditors.
On December 12, 2024, the envelope containing the results of the secret ballot by the Grand Jury of the LAUR Prize was opened. The voting results were announced by Irina Petrovskaya, Chairperson of the Prize Council.
The majority of votes went to Tatyana Soboleva's film "Against the Wind".
