An editor of a russian student magazine reminds the readers about their constitutional right to peaceful protest and ends up spending one year under house arrest. Meanwhile, she meets the love. In the winter of 2021, a wave of protests in support of Russian opposition leader Aleksei Navalny rises in many cities across the country. The editor team of a student media DOXA records a video calling young people to defend their right to peaceful protest and not be afraid to go out to the streets. On the morning of April 14th, the police raids the homes of the four editors. Now, they face criminal charges for involving minors in dangerous activities and up to three years of confinement. While the investigation is carried out the editors are placed under house arrest. Alla Gutnikova is one of the four editors charged with this criminal offense. Alla moves to her boyfriend Danya, whom she has dated for only two months, and their family life unwittingly begins. After a year of arrest, she manages to escape from the country. However, the long-awaited joy still doesn’t seem to come. Now she has to confront her own fears and anxieties.
