This film is about a man who devoted himself to the service of the theater, who created his own theater troupe and for the last 18-19 years has been looking for a home for his drama theater. Subsequently having received from the government of the city of St. Petersburg the premises of an abandoned cinema, the hero of the film together with his actors restored it from the ruins in order to finally open its doors to the viewer.
