Lena Chyzh and Oleksii Yaresko are working as deminers. Together with their colleagues, they are trying to clear the eastern part of Ukraine of unexploded ordnance, booby traps and mines. The film presents a sensitive picture of life in eastern Ukraine and how it has changed drastically for the people living there since the outbreak of war 2014. Landmines, explosive remnants of war and improvised explosive devices still kill or maim thousands of people around the world each year.
