Set in the Russian capital, In The Shadows of Moscow tells the stories of four migrants: Sarqis (Armenia), whose father has been in prison for two years for a crime that he did not commit; Rahmeddin (Uzbekistan), who was denied justice by the Russian courts, after being stabbed in the liver by a Russian gang; salsa teacher Alfonso (Cuba), and his daughter, Izabella (Russia), who have learnt to adapt to the Russian way of life.
