Isaac Babel's writings challenged the ideology of the early Soviet Union and led the writer to his arrest and execution in 1940. In the year of the 75th anniversary of the execution of Isaac Babel, his grandson Andrei Malaev-Babel tries to discover the truth and hopes to better understand the power of his grandfather's artistic method.
