The film is dedicated to the Russian creative event in the life of the Italian cinematographer and poet Tonino Guerra. In the mid-1990s, Guerra wrote scripts for two animated films by A. Khrzhanovsky, thus making his debut as an author in animation. These are the famous films "The Lion with a Gray Beard" and "The Long Journey". Animated cinema, where impossible fantasies come to life, seems to be the true territory of Guerra. The movement towards Russia becomes for the Italian master a movement along the vertical of creativity, a metaphor for the limitless possibilities of the imagination.
