29-year-old Sasha Malay (Alexander Rakovskikh) and Alexei Kvashonkin came to stand-up through KVN (they played for the team of the Higher School of Economics). In March, they went on a tour of central Russia and made jokes about the coronavirus along the way. They did not yet suspect how quickly the world around would change, and that the planned tour would have to be postponed or canceled.
