The pandemic catches Svetlana in a provincial Russian town, out of work, dating Sergei, a military contractor and with male papers which she now needs to change to female in order to find a stable job. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Sergei retains his job in the army until the war in Ukraine forces him to change his ways.
