This movie is about evil. The main character is Leonid Solomonovich Trus, a well-known personality in Akademgorodok. Leonid Trus is the chairman of the Novosibirsk society "Memorial", created to perpetuate the memory of the victims of repression, currently conducting research, human rights and educational work. In 1953, Leonid Trus was accused of preparing a terrorist act and sentenced to death, replaced by 25 years in the camps. He was amnestied after the 20th Congress of the CPSU, which debunked the "cult of personality" of Stalin.
