The film is about how activists are trying to get Anastasia from Kharkiv out of the Russian detention center. At the beginning of the war, she left Ukraine, but her mother-in-law remained under occupation in the Kharkiv region. After several unsuccessful attempts to evacuate her, Anastasia decided to take her mother-in-law herself and in August went to Russia, to the Belgorod region, in order to get to the occupied territories from there. But she didn’t make it, because near Belgorod she was detained and tortured by Russian security forces. This terrible story differs from many with a happy ending, as a result, not only Anastasia returned home, but also her mother-in-law.
