A film about modern Siberian artists Arseny Milovanov, Irina Verpet, Alexander Krasnov, Anna Osipova, Elena Ilyankova, Vasily Slonov. Each of them works in a different manner, each is a tireless creator, experimenter, philosopher and traveler. The film consists of six film short stories about the life of Siberian artists here and now. The film crew of the film studio "Archipelago" accompanies artists in the open air, in workshops, in preparation for the exhibition, on travels and at vernissages. The shooting geography is from the southern steppes of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to the Arctic Circle. All events in the film take place near the powerful Siberian river Yenisei, which flows from the mountains in southern Siberia to the Arctic Ocean. And each of the characters in the film, often imperceptibly, comes into contact with this great river, draws strength, beauty and inspiration from it. The events shown in the film took place before the start of anti-covid measures in Russia, so the characters in the film do not use protective masks.
