When on 24th February 2022 Russia started the war against Ukraine, the 30-years old Moldovan film director suddenly realized that her grief over the death of her beloved Ukraine-based Grandma Maria transformed into something else. Guided by this unknown feeling and need for consolation, she decided to write a postcard for her Grandma, like she used to do when Grandma was alive. "Postcard for my Grandma" is a poetic journey of grief, mourning and love.
