These events are not included in the history books, they are rarely mentioned in the press, not a single feature film has been made about them. Unlike one of the most famous battles, namely the Battle of Stalingrad. But the military operation "Saturn Minor", which preceded it, is undeservedly less known today, although it became the prologue of a radical turning point in the Great Patriotic War. The main target on the path of the advancing troops was the enemy air base in the village of "Tatsinskaya - the air bridge", through which Paulus's army was supplied near Stalingrad. In December 1942, the 24th Tank Corps under the command of General Vasily Badanov was given a daring and very risky task. The fighters had to go about 300 km deep behind enemy lines, cut off the German task force from Rostov-on-Don, divert the German troops aimed at Stalingrad and defeat the airfield. The film is dedicated to a unique tank raid and the incredible story of the battle between tanks and planes.
