May 5, 2021. Boca Chica polygon. USA. SpaceX's prototype Starship spacecraft has risen to an altitude of 10 kilometers. It shut off the engines and began a controlled fall in a horizontal position. Then the engines started up again and the ship successfully landed on the landing pad. If all goes to plan, SpaceX's starship will soon enter Earth's orbit. And then Starship will be able to deliver the first hundred colonists to Mars with everything they need to survive on the inhospitable Red Planet. What dangers await people on the way to Mars? What will the first interplanetary transport system look like? And how are research vehicles already helping us to explore the Red Planet?
