This film opens a project about the cultural heritage of Mstera. The film tells about the creator of the first rural lithography in Russia in Mstyora, Ivan Alexandrovich Golyshev (1838-1896). Born into the family of a serf, Golyshev became a well-known lithographer, publisher, publicist, holder of the Gold Medal of the Imperial Russian Archaeological Society.
