To the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin, erected in 1732, and now lying in ruins, a religious procession is taking place, which is met by the only inhabitant of the village, Mother Fomaida, through whose efforts the temple is slowly being restored. It keeps the memory of the place where St. Macarius Kalyazinsky, the founder of the Holy Trinity Kalyazinsky Monastery, was born, and where the saint's parents are buried.
