The film is a tribute to the Soviet-Armenian director, screenwriter and conceptual artist Sergei Parajanov. As a kind of collage, the picture is an experimental mixture of many disparate genres, such as documentation, elements of a feature film or "pseudo-documentation", animation and puppet theater.
