Once, a lion cub named Simba and a disabled boy named Sasha were betrayed by their closest ones. At the age of five, the boy lay in an orphanage with maimed arms and back, while poachers tormented the lion cub, and he was kept on a leash like a dog. Today, Sasha plays the piano and is applying to university, while Simba lives in an enclosure with his fellow lions and is thriving. How did a nightmare turn into warmth and happiness? Who helped them overcome monstrous hardships? How do you remain human, no matter what? A year in the lives of a lion and a boy, against all odds of pain and loneliness.
