Inspired by the fairy tales and magic of old Minsk, young Leonid Shvartsman dreams of becoming an animator, bringing stories to life on screen. After enduring many losses, setbacks, the hardships of war, and factory days in Chelyabinsk far from anything magical, he finds his way to the "Soyuzmultfilm" studio, proving that dreams can come true if you view the world through a child's eyes.
