Vera fulfilled her childhood dream by becoming a bear trainer. Having survived the betrayal of her husband, leaving the circus, she fought for the life of her animals for many years, replacing her family and children, but the most difficult test was ahead. On August 31, 2015, a flood hits Ussuriysk, flooding the zoo where Vera's bears were kept. She tries to save her charges, but the price for their lives is too high. "Cage" is a docudrama about how a cage for an animal can be a cage for a person.
