The film is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Leningrad, and now the St. Petersburg Documentary Film Studio. The Leningrad school of documentaries has always been distinguished by its truthful approaches to problematic topics. Historical events, images of people, the vital atmosphere captured by directors and documentary operators make up the outline and content of the film. The film includes fragments of works by the best directors of the studio. Vivid shots, signs of the times, expressed in strong images, all this creates a contradictory chronicle of Russia.
