A film about the fate of the scientist Boris Grigoryevich Mirkin, the legend of Soviet computer science, one of the founders of "artificial intelligence". In the 90s, he left Russia at the insistence of his family, his wife was afraid of impending chaos and anti-Semitism. He has taught at European and American universities. However, at the age of 67, he decided to return to Russia, alone, without a family, because here "they both speak and think in Russian." Today he teaches at the Higher School of Economics, raises young cadres, believes that progress cannot be stopped, that artificial intelligence will definitely be created.
