The documentary film "Ivan's Endeavour" tells the story of the world's first primatology center in Abkhazia. The film also explores the reasons behind the creation of this facility. It reveals how, starting with Academician Mechnikov's work, medical scientists worldwide concluded that medicine as a science could not progress further without using primates as human models. It also shows how many diseases humanity has overcome thanks to these primates.
