Long before the Internet, the generation of zoomers, neural networks, the return of the 80s and the Pain festival, there was the Novosibirsk group Hot Zex, which today is called one of the founders of Russian shoegaze and indietronics. The documentary chronicles the band's journey from its inception in 1991 to its breakup in 2010, and the unexpected interest that has arisen in the band's archives in recent years.
