In the early 90s of the twentieth century, a collection of engravings of Khakass rock paintings by the famous Siberian artist Vladimir Kapelko was illegally exported abroad. Estampages (prints on paper of ancient petroglyphs) were made according to the original method of Kapelko. They were given particular value by the fact that most of the drawings themselves have not been preserved. As a result of a special operation by the FSB, the collection returned to its homeland.
