Paradise Not Lost

Once upon a time, Jūratė dreamed of her own Eden with a husband and a child in an idyllic farmhouse in the middle of the forest. Unexpectedly, her dream comes true—she meets a man who takes her to such a place. There she sees a revelation: a blond boy with a flag. The vision soon turns into reality and she becomes pregnant. Their son is born. The happy parents name him after Archangel Gabriel.

What was supposed to be the beginning of Eden on earth soon turns into a curse. To her dismay, Jūratė discovers that her spouse is not what she has wished for, and her son Gabriel is diagnosed with a severe form of autism. She lives in this new reality for many disheartening years, until one day, God Himself begins to speak to her through her son Gabriel.
