The film tells about people whose childhood was spent in the very heart of Moscow, the Kremlin. Among the participants in the film are Stalin's niece Kira Politkovskaya, Stalin's adopted son Artem Sergeev, Svetlana Alilluyeva, Stepan Mikoyan, Natalya Krestinskaya. Immediately after the revolution, the Kremlin was both home and place of work for Soviet leaders and their families. For children, it was a large communal apartment in which they spent all their free time. There was also a special cinema, and a dining room, and a place for games, a New Year tree closed to prying eyes, and a skating rink. The film is based on the memories of children who once played on Cathedral Square.
