The life story of Nicholas Roerich is unusual. Passion for mysticism and Buddhism, forced emigration and wandering around Europe, the triumph of his paintings in the United States and incredible travels to India, China, Tibet. Attempts to create a city of knowledge and spirit in the USSR and Manchuria were unsuccessful, but India recognized him as the greatest artist and sage.
