A film-observation about what life is like for the ordinary workers taking care of a small farm in the suburbs of Moscow. The main characters are the former foreman Vasily, who actively participates in all the events taking place on the farm, and his slow-paced, somewhat lazy friend Zhenya, nicknamed Mu-mu. Each of the farm's inhabitants is unique in their own way, and each one is a little lonely.
