A short review of one day in the life of female artists from different countries living and studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Documentary episodes are interspersed with scenes that mimic everyday life and are prefaced with quotes from Sabina Spielrein, the first female psychoanalyst. What happens to life when nothing happens, and what is the motivation of young artists (but no longer young people) to make art?
