The documentary film tells the story of Alisa, a girl born with HIV to parents struggling with drug addiction. After their deaths, when Alisa was a teenager, she herself was drawn into the world of drugs, trying to cope with the pain of loss and feelings of loneliness. However, at some point, Alisa found the strength to change her life. The film shows how HIV/AIDS activism became her salvation: by helping others, she found support, healing, and a new purpose in life.
