Having awakened the ancestral memory that lies dormant in each of us, one can unexpectedly encounter Pushkin and Griboyedov, Catherine II and Pugachev, Ivan the Terrible and Rurik, and in their person with the whole of Russian history, into which the fate of our hero’s ancestors turned out to be closely intertwined.
