This is a story about the Ingush people who have never known a fate other than genocide and repression, both in Stalin's times and in the new Russia. The people who fought for their future and continue to do so now. The people who did not give up and deserve attention and respect.

The film tells about the fate of a small people who first survived the Stalinist deportation to the USSR, and then the genocide and years of repression in the new Russia. For thirty years, the truth about the mass violations of human rights in Ingushetia was hushed up. The war in Ukraine is a consequence of the dehumanization that began in the 1990s in the North Caucasus. There and then this mine was laid, which exploded now.

The most powerful protests in Russia in recent decades against the arbitrariness of officials took place in Ingushetia in 2018-2019. The Ingush defended their dignity and the right to live on their land. Citizens came out in defense of the Constitutional system and the rule of law, for which they were defiantly punished in order to prevent them from becoming an example for the rest of Russia. The brightest and most worthy representatives were sentenced to Stalinist terms. But it is impossible to screw on the lid of a cauldron that has been boiling for decades, shut people up and expect the situation to resolve itself. This is the way to a new social explosion.
