Amadou, a young Black man from Guinea, is seeking to build a new life in Moscow, searching for the 'European dream' and a place to call home. After leaving his girlfriend behind, he moves to Germany, only to find that life there is just as challenging. Will Amadou find his true home, or will his journey continue?

Two guest workers came to Finland for easy money. The goal of Misha, a worker from the small Ukrainian town of Konotop, is to earn money for apartments so that he can rent them out and no longer work. Colonel of the Soviet army from Lithuania, Sergei Fedorovich, needs to put his pride, Land Rover, in order, and he also wants adventures in retirement. But they didn’t get very well on the summer estate of emigrants in 1918 from St. Petersburg. Martti's mission is to restore the buildings of the estate and thereby resurrect the memory of his grandfather. Martti's young daughter Anna decides to make a film about it.
